Sylvia Landry
The beauty industry has been a dream of mine since 10th grade and now I can say that I have been in this industry for twenty plus years. As a chemical specialist, I have the pleasure of creating looks that may seem unattainable at first but with experience and education are possible. Along with providing specialized chemical services (corrective color, highlights, straighteners, perms), I have had the fortune of educating others for over 19 years. I love learning new techniques and continue to stay open to fresh ideas. As I learn it always motivates and inspires me to share my knowledge with others.
Freddie Flores
I’ve been at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers for 6 years. One of these years was learning the basis of everything. Then I assisted a master stylist for 2 years where I learned my rhythm with balyage and blow-drying. Being behind the chair is a totally different story; I had a lot of haircutting questions, I made my mistakes, and I learned from them. Being older and wiser now, I can share that with my peers, and through that, I learn even more…you never stop learning, that’s why I love teaching.
Tasha Shaw
At a very young age I would give “makeovers” to my grandmother and cousins. I know my dream then was to inspire others by allowing them to see their true beauty potential. As I grow older “creating” an image always stayed with me. After high school I came to Jamison Shaw Hairdressers and began my apprenticeship. I had the luxury to assist Candy Shaw Codner and learn that there is so much more to hairdressing than meets the eye. I had the opportunity to work with Candy on celebrity photo shoots and now that I am on my own, I work regularly with the Atl Falcons Cheerleaders, Thrasher Girls, and The Hawks. In 2008 I won the “You Can Make a Difference Award” from my mentor Candy. That in itself inspired me to give to others what she gave to me…A perfected craft, something I will always have. The teacher learns more than the student.

Kym Moore
I have been with Jamison Shaw since ’91. I have learned a lot of fun techniques through the years including color, haircutting, and updos. I have been a part of JSAHS for over 10 years and enjoy teaching other eager hairdressers. My style is a little more edgy with a French foundation. And finishing hair is my favorite. I like teaching you to put a signature on your style after the haircut, inspiration Hollywood!
Elsa Guzman
I started as a student at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers six years ago and continue to this day to come to work to “as a student” because I believe every day is a learning opportunity. Known for our extensive training, I have had the opportunity to learn and build my experience with the French technique and now have the opportunity to share my education as the Director of the Jamison Shaw Hairdressers Protégé Program. The Protégé Program teaches our talented apprentices, soon to be a graduate of our training program, to polish their skills while gaining the experience of working behind the chair. I am proud to be part of Jamison Shaw Hairdressers and a mentor to our young professionals.
